What the app collects

Nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no crash reporting. The app has no servers, and I receive no information about you or how you use it.

What stays on your Mac

The app saves one setting in your Mac's local preferences: the keyboard shortcut you choose for feeding the fish. It never leaves your computer, and it is removed when you delete the app's preferences.

Cursor position

To make the fish react, the app reads where your mouse pointer is on screen while the aquarium is visible. This happens only in memory, is used only to move the fish, and is never stored or sent anywhere. The app does not read what you type, and it does not see the contents of your screen or other apps.

Network access

The app does not make network requests. All graphics and code are included in the app. (The App Store listing shows a network entitlement because macOS requires it for the web view that draws the aquarium; nothing is sent or received.)

Third parties

The app includes the open-source three.js graphics library (MIT license), which runs entirely on your Mac. No third-party services are used.

Children

The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

If this ever changes, I will update this page and the date above.
